Energy and life-sustaining utilities affect everyone in the community - from the most fortunate to the most in need. Too often, a community’s infrastructure and utilities are constructed in an ad-hoc manner. This approach leads to multiple layers of band-aid solutions that serve to solve the immediate problem but also create future problems - often ones that stunt growth and contribute to environmental concerns. Our strategy is to create a complementary relationship between infrastructure and energy/utilities. Where a community’s infrastructure serve as the foundation, technologies available today can leverage that foundation to provide smart, efficient and environmentally-conscious energy and utilities to citizens. Power, clean water and safe waste management are basic human requirements that should be available to everyone.
Smart clean energy initiatives are already taking place all over the world, like the 63MW Catalagan Solar Farm in the Philippines.
