Community economic development should be designed from the ground up to enable everyone from the community to benefit. Success should not be defined by those that would restrict access to others to consolidate power, wealth and influence for themselves. A cornerstone of what Lucy’s Lions Group offers is to leverage a portion of the proceeds from the Infrastructure and Utilities projects we manage to fund incubators and seed new business ventures for the entrepreneurs in the community. The positive effects of organic economic development initiatives have both immediate and long-term benefits not just for the individuals that are supported by them - but also the entire community. A community with successful entrepreneurs is the key to sustained economic prosperity.
